Stacked — Privacy Policy

Stacked is a two-player strategy game published by Equipped Motion, Inc. ("we"). This policy explains what information the app uses and why.
Games on one device
Local games (two players sharing one device) are stored only on that device. They are never sent to us.
Online games
Online play uses Unity Gaming Services (operated by Unity Technologies) to run matches. When you play online:

Player identity. The app signs you in anonymously and receives a random player ID. We don't ask for your name, email address or phone number. If you delete the app, this anonymous identity cannot be recovered.

Display name. If you enter a name when creating or joining a game, it is shown to your opponent.

Match records. Moves, game results, timers and deadlines, and timestamps are stored so both players can continue a game and see completed games.

Statistics. Your wins, losses, draws and streaks are calculated from your completed online games and are shown only to you.

Screenshot notices. If your device reports that a screenshot was taken while an online game is on screen, the match records that a screenshot happened (which player, and when) and tells your opponent. The screenshot image is never accessed, uploaded or stored. Stacked cannot detect photos taken with another device.

Notifications. If you allow notifications, your device's push token, a random installation ID and your notification choices are stored so we can tell you when it's your turn. Notifications are delivered by Apple Push Notification service.
Unity may also process technical information needed to provide its services (for example IP address, approximate location derived from it, and device and app information), as described in Unity's privacy policy: https://unity.com/legal/privacy-policy.
What we don't do

No advertising and no tracking across other companies' apps or websites.

Keeping and deleting information
Online game information is kept while the game service runs so that matches, history and statistics stay available. To have your online information deleted, contact us at PT@EQMotion.org with your in-game display name and the approximate dates you played; we'll delete the records linked to your player ID. Deleting the app removes local games from your device.
Children
Stacked is not directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from them.
Changes
We'll update this page if this policy changes and change the effective date above.
