Games used to relax me but now it’s all short videos
I used to open a game to chill after work or before bed, but now I automatically reach for short videos instead. It’s become such a routine that I sometimes forget I even have games installed. That sounds familiar. I also feel like watching too many short videos puts me in a weird mental state. You’re constantly switching focus every few seconds. With games, you get into a flow, but videos keep you jumping from one thing to another. It's fun in the moment, but not as fulfilling after. I’m thinking of making space for gaming again just to feel more grounded.
